Update report w/ dataset in 1 workspace & copies in multiple workspaces-how to save user bookmarks

We have reports that are all published to one workspace and then copied to multiple workspaces.  This was the method chosen to distribute packages of reports to various audiences without have the dataset duplicated.

The problem is that when it is time to publish an update, the copied reports must be deleted and recopied, causing users to lose their saved bookmarks.

We have been looking in to the new app experience with multiple audiences, but the limit of 10 audiences will not work for us.

Is there a way to accomplish this without deleting and recopying the reports?
