Hey guys,
I have 1,200,000 rows in my dataset. plus/minus 35mb pibx file. I upload using the bidesktop power. Every I will increment another 300k.
I'm setting the incremental refresh and the start and end of the specific interval. I noticed that it's taking a long time to update the dataset. both in incremental (manual) and automatic web updates. In this case, I'm using View without using Table.
How can I see what happened? The query in my database is very fast. I'm testing by datetime column which is using bi power.
And I have another question
It's problem using View in this case? or
Using only one table ( in this case I need export data and this format ) or
Query ( in this case I will replace View by Query Because i am using 4 tables )
What it's the best solution for this situation?
Hi @ecancio
First question is the incremental refresh working as expected? If it is that is good news.
Second is if the refresh is slow can you make sure that your gateway server meets the minimum hardware requirements?
Also does the Gateway server have a fast internet connection as this can also mean that the refresh takes a long time?
