We had a problem with one of the reports in our Power BI Service workspace this week - some users had a message when they opened the report that access was restricted due to the RLS setting on the datacet, but no RLS settings were made on that datacet.
Now we do not understand the pattern, since the report continues to work for a larger number of users, only about 10% had an error with RLS.
At the moment, we cannot find the root cause of this problem, since no settings have been made on our part and such an error appeared on only 1 of our 20+ reports in the PBI. Could this be due to some of the latest updates in the PBI? Or maybe someone has faced a similar problem?
Hi. That's weird. I think you can check the dataset. Go to the dataset -> three dots -> security. The security setting should show if there is any kind of RLS in there. If you really don't have any kind of RLS. The dataset should show this:
If you really don't have any RLS in there, you will need to contact support or raise a ticket.
