We have currently 3 reports that connect to Google BigQuery through the Simba ODBC driver which used a JSON key to log into the service.
When refreshing through a personal gateway everything goes well and refresh executed correctly.
However, when trying to refresh, or set up the connection on our gateway which is installed on a VM we keep getting errors stating the connection credentials are invalid. We have installed the ODBC both on personal pc as user and system DSN and also on the gateway as user and system DSN.
When configuring the datasource we made sure the names match up between the dashboard and the odbc on the gateway and have tried anonymous, basic & windows credentials but all fail.
Error details:
Refresh details when we skip the connection test:
Does anyone know why this isn't working? We know the gateway is up and running as we have other ODBC connections that work perfectly (i.E. Postgresql, Athena, ...)
All help welcome 🙂
I have precisely the same issue as above. I hope someone from Microsoft can take a look at it soon, as i can't keep my PC on at all times for the Personal Gateway to do dashboard refreshes across all the timezones
