Hi,
I managed to connect AWS Athena to PBI Desktop successfully, as well as configure the on-premises gateway on VM.
When I used set the data source in PBI Service as ODBC, it was created successfully and allowed me to schedule refresh. When I've chosen data source type to be AWS Athena connector, now I get the following errors:
... when I choose OAuth2 authentication method and
... when selecting the Anonymous authentication method.
On the gateway, it was authenticated using IAM Credentials.
PS.
Yes, DSN is named the same as the one in the gateway

Hi, @mba
Please first check that you have downloaded and installed the latest version of the PBI Desktop, gateway and Athena ODBC drivers. On the Authentication Method, it is recommended to choose Anonymous.
You can refer to the official AWS post, which provides a step-by-step guidance on how to use the Athena connector for Power BI to query, visualize, and share data with Power BI.
