I am trying to add additional groups to a Power BI app. I am able to add individual users fine and there are other groups already added that work fine. However when adding new groups everything seems to work fine, but when inspecting the app again (even if it is a day later), the security has not changed. I'm not certain how the working groups got there, but it seems weird I can't add new ones. I've tried adding them in the workspace, then the app and that does not work either. Please advise.

We've seen similar sync issues. Make sure your groups are email enabled. Since you have a Pro license you can consider raising a Pro ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/pro/
Hello,
I remember seeing this issue on our tenant for some apps in the past and it has resurfaced again with one particular app. We're trying to add 2 new groups (mail-enabled), it seems like its updating but when I close/open it again, the changes are not being saved.
Any ideas? Please let me know.
