Hello,
I need to set up trigger/event based data refreshes in Power BI. For example; when a database job completes it sets a flag somewhere (this could be in a table, or could create a file etc), this event then causes Power BI to refresh.
Is this possible with Power BI?
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Angus

Look at Power Automate. It allows you to set up a flow that can either use a trigger (for example a file beign placed onto a SharePoint) or a schedule to then initiate a power BI Semantic Model refresh.
