I have a line chart with 2 lines and 2 reference lines.
The tooltip shows data for all lines and the lines for both normal data lines and the reference lines are showing in desktop.
However, when I publish to the service the lines for the reference lines are not showing up on the tooltip.

Hey there!
Here are a few solutions for you!
1. Enable "Include in Tooltip" for Reference Lines
In Power BI Desktop, Select the Line Chart.
- Go to Format Pane → Analytics → Reference Lines.
- For each reference line, ensure "Include in Tooltip" is ON.
- Re-publish and check in Power BI Service.
2. Check for Differences in Power BI Service Rendering
Some formatting settings behave differently between Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Fix: Try switching the tooltip type:
- Go to Format Pane → Tooltip.
- Change "Tooltip Type" to "Report Page" instead of "Default".
- Create a custom tooltip page if needed.
Hopefully one of these solutions fixes your problem!
