So, we have been using this visual for quite some time. Recently, it has started acting odd. When a user types something into the box and hits ENTER, it will filter as it should, but then the report itself will immediately revert to default (removing the filter). If the user simply types in his search term again and hits ENTER, it will stick and behave normally. Everytime they go into the report, this happens. If they refresh the report, this will happen as well. Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Hi , @esuing
I test in my side and search , the document said that "Sticky state/Persistent filters are not guaranteed to work when the user closes the browser/refreshes the page, so this behavior is by design".
In my tests, the Text filter slicer was indeed reset when we exited the report, then re-entered the report and refreshed the page.
If you still have reset problems during use, you can check whether the report has Automatic page refresh.
