Text Filter marketplace visual not always appearing

Is anyone else encountering this odd behavior where this text search box is not always appearing on reports?

No, that isn't the prolem.  I have configured the visual correctly and it works as expected when it appears.  The problem is occasionally when viewing the report the visual does not appear on the report.

Please check the data type first , text search box is only applicable to text field, not applicable to numbers, dates, etc.
