Tenant migration

Guys,

We are planning to migrate our existing reports/dashboards etc.. from one tenant to another and the new instance will be Fabric and not the old Capacity for Billing..

Question: If we buy F64 (SKU) from Microsoft Azure portal, can we use that in both DEV and TEST environment.

Also how many license(pro or premium or free) do we get if we buy F64 or do we need buy separate license.

Any prerequiste required for tenant migration..

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks,

Totally up to you.  These things are purely definitions. There is no physical limitation. Often there is no need either.

Also how many license(pro or premium or free) do we get if we buy F64 or do we need buy separate license.

You need to purchase Pro licenses for your report creators and workspace admins separately.  Your report consumers do not need to have licenses.

Any prerequiste required for tenant migration.

Be prepared for the realization that there is no migration. Be prepared to recreate everything.

Ideally your Power BI and the Azure subscription should reside in the same tenant for it to work.

So you need to switch the subscription from

xxxx-abcd to  xxxx-xyz.

Plz refer below :
