Template app

Use of template apps:

Hi all,

I am looking at creating template apps to sell to customers who can then populate the template app with their own data as I understand this gives me the option of handing over a product but keeping my IPR around data model, queries etc. I have a few questions I can't find answered in documentation:

If I provide a link for a template app I have created to a customer, what stops the customer I provide the link to from passing the link and template app on to another user or potential customer?

If a client uses the link and downloads the app into their own tenant and workspace, do I then lose any control over the app? For example if I decide to remove a decommission a template app,  would this remove access for any customer who had purchased and had access to the app in their own tenant/workspace, or would they still be able to access the app?

If I have a template app a customer has purchased, could manage this on a subscription basis and continue allowing their access / remove access as required, or in template apps would I be limited to a one time purchase via providing a link to a customer to download?
