Task Cancelled Error when refreshing a model

Hi,

I am getting this error to one model ony and it is quite weird as i have never seen htis before.

The operation failed due to an explicit cancellation. Exception: System.Threading.Tasks.TaskCanceledException: A task was canceled. at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.Pipeline.Dataflow.TDFHelpers.<>c__DisplayClass7_0`1.<<GetNextResponseAsync>b__0>d.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- at System.Runtime.ExceptionServices.ExceptionDispatchInfo.Throw() at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.ThrowForNonSuccess(Task task) at System.Runtime.CompilerServices.TaskAwaiter.HandleNonSuccessAndDebuggerNotification(Task task) at Microsoft.PowerBI.DataMovement.Pipeline.Dataflow.TDFHelpers.<>c__DisplayClass12_0.<<ExecuteBlockOperationAsync>b__0>d.MoveNext();A task was canceled.. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action. Table: Fourth_FactDailyClockRecords.

This started since I have updated and improved the gateway.

The weird issue is that this is affecting one of my smallest models... Some other models with the same sources are refreshing fine.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

Thanks! 🙂

Hi @sgallo ,

Please try to refresh the model in the desktop. If the local refresh is successful, there may be a problem with the Service credentials. Please try to create a new cloud/gateway connection.

Best Regards,

Wearsky

In desktop works fine. It seems to be an issue when 2 models refresh at the same time.

Will try now to re-set the gateway.
Thanks
