Hi Community,
Need your advice.
My current Gateway refresh consumes a lot of time (~20 mins) since it is pulling in 6.6 million data records from a SQL table (Main View). These refreshes are scheduled every 2 hours.
I am thinking of setting up the following architechture, where I split the data into two views.
View 1 has 600,000 records that will be refreshed every 2 hours in the SQL Server.
View 2 has 6 millions records that will be refreshed once a day.
Both need to feed into my Power BI report. My question is related to scheduling the refresh.
Is there a way to configure the Gateway so that the 2 hourly refreshes will only refresh the 600,000 records from View 1 and enable for a faster completion? The big (time consuming refresh) can be done at night time as a one time 6.6 million record refresh (combining data from View 1 and View 2).
