Hi!
We have a report that works for the rest of us just fine, but one of the key users sees just blank values on some of the visuals. Rest of the users see correct values. This only happens when the user uses the report via app, if the user opens the report in workspace there are no issues.
The data source is dynamics/crm, so i was wondering could this be related to his account / the access/permission settings there? From what i understand the users role/title was changed recently, but i don't know if this happened at the same time that the report stopped working for the user.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? Thanks!
Hi @ImTellu ,
Do you have rls configured for report? Power BI's Row Level Security (RLS) can be used to restrict data access for a given user, causing the data to be invisible to the relevant user with rls configured.
However, if the user has access to the data set corresponding to the report, then the configured rls will not take effect and the report will display normally.
For more details, you can read below document:
Row-level security (RLS) with Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

I did check the RLS after posting this, and there was nothing there. Currently we strongly believe there is an issue in the AD regarding this user, but sadly AD is handled 100% at the customers own end so we can't access it. We'll just have to wait until i get a hold of someone with access there.
