Hello!
I have a report that connects to Snowflake. When I configure it to use the dedicated Snowflake connector and publish, I am able to refresh via Power BI service fine after specifying OAuth2 in Data Source credentials without a need for a gateway:
However, I need to be able to execute a SQL query at import so I've instead used the ODBC connector:
Refresh works from PBI Desktop but not from PBI Service because of following error. Unfortunately I am unable to set the credentials to use because the option is greyed out. I don't expect to need a gateway because I was previously able to connect fine without one via the dedicated snowflake connector.
Please help.
Thanks!!

Hi @bp_developer ,
If you use an ODBC connector, then on-premises data gateway is necessary.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
