Hey!
I've got an issue with the slicer format.
Other users see the slicer correctly (as it is set in PBI Desktop), while I see totally different format on the PBI Server. I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this issue.
PBI Desktop: - correct one
PBI Server, same slicer different tabs: - incorrect ones
I'm using the newest Edge, I've cleaned cookies. I've experience this issue in other dashboard as well. What else can I do? And how to make sure that other users have proper display of filter?
Thank you for your response.
1. I'm getting the same issue in Chrome.
2. I've turned off compatibility view in Edge settings, it didn't help. I'm not sure what to do in PowerBI server, I don't see the options mentioned by you.
Saving slicer values: what do you mean? I don't have issues with values, I've got issue with format. I'm editing dashboards only on Desktop, saving and publishing into Server.
Hi @manul ,
According to your description, other users see the slicer correctly, but you see a totally different format. There are several reasons why this person may have problems:
1.Although you've mentioned using the newest version of Edge and clearing cookies, also try accessing the report using a different browser and see if the issue persists. This can help identify if the problem is browser-specific.
2.In some instances, Edge or other browsers may be using compatibility view settings that affect how content is displayed. Check your browser's compatibility view settings and ensure that they are not set for the Power BI Server URL.
To ensure Consistent Slicer Display, you can set default slicer values in your report and save it. Then consider using bookmarks to save the state of your slicers. Edits to slicer made by other users on the powe bi service will also affect the final result presented to you.
Best regards
Albert He
