I have a chiclet slicer that is showing me regions.
Then I have a table with Regions, States, Cities.
If I click Central on the chiclet slicer it won't filter the table if the table is sorted on City Name.
However, if I resort the table on Region it works fine.
What is odd is it filters other items on the page (such as another slicer of states inside said region).
Am I missing something obvious here?
Thanks!
Hi @OneWithQuestion,
How do you sort your table in Power BI Desktop? In Query Editor or in created visual? We will appreciate it if you can share sample data of your table and post relevant screenshot.
I try to test the scenario as yours, but I am not able to reproduce your issue. I can use ChicletSlicer to filter the following visual when I sort it by city column, for more details, please review this attached PBIX file.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
I am using SSAS Tabular live asa data source, perhaps that has something to do with it?
I will try to setup a sample dataset that I can share and test that.
