Slicer chanes when I publish to service

I have a report with 4 pages - all with the same slicer (single select) and they are all synced - it works fine in desktop, but when I publish to service one of the slicers change from single select to multi select.

What can i do to solve this?

Thanks

1. Verify Slicer Settings Before Publishing:

  • Check Slicer Settings:
    • Ensure that all the slicers on each of the report pages are correctly set to single-select mode in Power BI Desktop.
    • Go to the Format Pane > Selection Controls and make sure "Single Select" is turned on for each slicer.

2. Re-Sync the Slicers:

  • Un-Sync and Re-Sync Slicers:
    • In Power BI Desktop, un-sync the slicer that is causing the issue, and then re-sync it across all pages.
    • This can be done through the View > Sync Slicers Pane. Uncheck the problematic slicer for all pages, save the report, and then recheck it for all pages.
    • After re-syncing, confirm that the slicer is set to single-select mode.

Hi @Anhys

Thanks for the reply from Shravan133 .

@Anhys , here is my testing, I did not have the same problem as you. Please feel free to correct me if I am doing anything differently than you are.

I set up the slicer on Page1 and turned “Single Select” on, then synchronized it to the other three pages.

Thanks - I tried this but still no difference. One slicer keeps changing when I publish it!
