Download PBIX without edit permissions
I think it is a quite frequent request but unfortunately we did not find any solution from Microsoft.
We need analyst users to have access to download the pbix, but we don't want to give them the Contributor role so they can edit and delete the certified dashboards from the workspaces...
Is there any solution on the way, or any workaround to achieve this result?

Based on the knowledge, there are some limitations when downloading a pbix file. Microsoft requires appropriate permission settings for data security.

Post the PBIX on a file share they can access.
I appreciate the response lbendlin , but I honestly think it doesn't make sense to have to upload a new pbix file in a file share every time a change is applied.
I don't understand why this type of permissions are not allowed to be configured separately to provide more flexibility.Thanks!
