I have aslicer attched to to a date column in a table. The slicer is set to
Relative date => is in the last => 1 => days ( not including last date ).
Does this default back to calculation of page everytime user opens the report ?
When does the relative date calculation takes effect?
Another big issue with this is that when user selects the start date as Yesterdays date twice the calculation on the page goes back to 1st date on table and still shows yesterdays date on the slicer?
Please help.
Hi,
this is the normal behaviour of the slicer.
When does the relative date calculation takes effect?
the relative date Filter is based on the actual real date not the date in a table. For example if you look today at your report and there is no date from yesterday in the date table it can't be filtered and it will show all dates.
Does this default back to calculation of page everytime user opens the report ?
Yes, the report is "sticky" as it saved user might use Bookmarks if they customized filters for their purposes.

Hi,
Thanks for the response, even if there is data for that day when you select the start date twice it does roll back to all dates. eg todays date 27-Jan- 2020 Relative date of 3 which is 24-Jan-2020
If I select 24-Jan-2020 and end date 24-Jan-2020, let it do the calculation and display the graph. Choose 24-Jan-2020 as Start Date second time. This is where it roll back to all dates.
Thanks
