I have a Power BI that refreshes the data fine, but the slicer does not update and show the most recent data. The end users don't realize the slicer is showing previous date and need to open the drop down and select the new date.
Is there a way to have the slicer automatically select the most recent dates after report refreshes?
I've tried the solutions (use relative filter, calculated column) in the community, but none seem to work for the report. The only thing I haven't tried is a date table, but that seems to be extreme for a slicer.

@v-kelly-msft Hi Kelly, Thanks for the link...I tried it and wasn't able to get it to work. it's ok, it was more of making it more convenient for the end user to see most recent dates in the slicer. they now know to check the slicer.
Hi @Anonymous ,
You can create a calculated column with a measure to make the default selection available.
