Setting a specific page to open as the default landing page when lauching a Power Bi App

I have multiple apps fed by multiple reports containing many pages. By default, the first page in the first report opens when the app is launched. I would like a different page in the app to be the default page similar to how a report functions when publishing it to a workspace but I cannot seem to find a setting to make this work when I publish the app.

By default, the first page in the first report opens when the app is launched

That is slightly incorrect.  The page that will open is the page the developer was on when saving the pbix and/or publishing it to the workspace. Doesn't have to be the first page.

Once you publish the app you can address each report page by its ReportSection URL.

Hi, are you able to explain how to do this?  "Once you publish the app you can address each report page by its ReportSection URL" Or link me to some help on it as I can't find any info online. Thanks!

Open any report with more than one page in the Power BI Service.  Observe the URL while you navigate between pages.  You can also use the Embedded Playground to collect all the IDs for the pages ("reportsectionxxx")
