Setting Up Data Refresh WIth AWS Redshift As Data Source

I have been trying to do reporting using AWS redshift as our data source. I was able to connect to Redshift data warehouse from PowerBI desktop successfully, however when I go to PowerBI service to set up a data refresh, I am running into the following error message.

I was under the impression that I do not need to setup a gateway connection since Redshift is a cloud service. However, this article

seems to suggest that we need one.

I have received the IP addresses from Microsoft support that were whitelisted by Redshift DBAs.

Please advise on what I am missing.

You would need a Gateway to connect to Redshift.
