Hi everyone,
I have a PowerBi dashboard currently based on an Excel report with multiple tabs. During the building process of the dashboard, I realised that some of the columns in the Excel file are not needed, so I went ahead and deleted them. After refreshing the desktop version of the dashboard I got an initial error telling me that the refresh failed because Power Query couldn't find the columns that I deleted, so I went ahead and amended the Power Query code which fixed the issue, and was able to refresh the dashboard as usual.
The problem that I have now is that this dashboard is also currently published on the web version of PBI and currently shared with a few other people. When I tried to refresh the semantic model, I got the same error (screenshot attached), telling me that the refresh can't be completed because of the columns that I deleted. Does anyone know what is the best way to fix this? Thank you
Hi - can you publish the desktop version (where you amended the PowerQuery code) to the workspace on the web so that it overwrites the version that is shared with other people?
