Hi @powerbiexpert22 ,

The Power BI Embed website and portal can only allow others to view reports on the website , cannot be modified, and you need to log in to your Power BI account.

The Developer Playground allows others to make changes to present the report in embedded code.

So , if you need to just view the report , you can choose to embed it securely on the website. If you want to modify the requirements , you can use the developer playground.

Below is the Microsoft's official link:

Hi @Anonymous ,

What is dfference in features between secure embed option and Power BI Embedded?

Hi @powerbiexpert22 ,

There are four Power BI embedding options: SharePoint Online, Website and Portal, Publish to Web, and Developer Playground.

The secure embedding option is similar to Publish to Web, both of which are published to the web, but the Website and Portal need to be logged in to the Power BI account and have access to the report. If you want to explore the difference between Power Embedded and Website and Portal, it may be that Website and Portal is a method of Power BI Embedding, but Power BI Embedded has four embedding methods, which is an inclusion relationship
