Script Runtime Error on a Python Visual

Hi,

The python vizualization will not load on an existing report on the service. This was brought to my attention this morning; the report and visualization were working fine yesterday evening. The error we're seeing is:

and the details, if they will help, are:

We've done an extensive search of our logs and couldn't fnd any references to this error, and the visual works just fine in Desktop. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues with python visuals today?

Hii @MDrabik

Could you please check now if the visuals are working or not.

I hope my suggestions give you good ideas, if you have any more questions, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
Best Regards,

Thanks.

Hi @v-snpatro

Yes, they are working as of this morning! Do we know what caused the problem? My end users are asking, and I'd like to give them a more informed answer than "this happened in the BI Service, and is out of my control."

Thanks!

Hi, @MDrabik

We have seen on the internal platform that other engineers have reported this issue and submitted it.

The engineers on the product team are now aware and will do their best to resolve the issue. I will update here if there is any progress, so please be patient.

I am also recieiving the error, I opened a ticket with Microsoft support and can update what they say

Mini-update, we tested a bunch of stuff on a call. It definitly doesn't seem to be a local issue, but more global issue. I think they are escalating it higher now internally.

Thanks for this. Suspected it to be the case that it is a them problem. Haven't seen anything while I've been looking into it that suggest it is a code issue. No updates to the documentation for different library versions etc.

Having the same issue currently with Python visuals. I'm afraid I currently have no idea why it would be happening though. They were working fine as of a few days ago when I last looked at them.

Hello @MDrabik,

Don't have anything directly to add but I am experiencing this issue as well with R visuals.  All of a sudden all our R visuals stopped working for no reason and even after creating a temp r visual with just a small dataset and a single ggplot library all I get is errors.  Wondering if the issues are related.
