Scheduled Data Refresh using SharePoint not working

My Scheduled Refresh keeps failing more often than not. 

I have a file saved in SharePoint that is linked to the report I have online. I am using oAuth to login but I keep getting enter credentials every day despite of me saving it which causes the scheduled refresh to fail. 

I have to go in re-enter my credentials and refresh manually!

Have you configured personal gateway for the SharePoint data source corredctly? Based on my reserach, we need a personal gateway to schedule refresh data. Here are some similar issue, please refer to the link below.

@v-caliao-msft thanks for your response. I have connected an excel source in sharepoint using web as the data source? Is there another way I should be doing it. 

There is no option for me to configure a personal gateway anywhere when I use this method. Any other thoughts on what could be causing this? 

Oddly enough, without me doing anything its been working fine since 29th of July! 🙂
