SSAS - We reached the data gateway, but the gateway can't access the on-premises data source.

Hi, 

 

i set up the newest November 2020 Data Gateway on my Azure Virtual Machine and in Power BI Gateway it all works and the Gateway is available. 

 

When i try to set up my Analysis Services Datasource or try to connect via Power BI Desktop App i receive the following errors: 
- Gateway online: 

Unable to connect: We encountered an error while trying to connect to . Details: "We could not register this data source for any gateway instances within this cluster. Please find more details below about specific errors for each gateway instance."Hide details

Anyone facing the same issue and having a fix on this?

You could try to open a support ticket. It is free if you have a Pro account.

Go to https://support.powerbi.com. Scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET".
