Row-level security - View as role

Hi,

One quick question it would be awesome if someone knows the answer on.

I have implemented Row-level security and it works nice.

I use it to filter rows on username () ex [user] = username () and then [user] is connected to another table so the user only can se the rows his username is on.

The datamodell is now uploaded to the service, and I have several dashboards connecting to this datamodell using power bi desktop and connecting to online services (Power BI service).
In Power BI Desktop i totally understand why Manage Roles are greyed out because RLS is configured on the modell and cannot be modified in file connected to the power bi service. But why is the View role as greyed out?

And on the service:

When I click on the Test data as role in the service and choose one role, it works awesome on the dashboardfile uploaded with the datamodell, but not on all the other dashboards connected to the same modell.

To test this at the best way I really need to use the Test data as role on all the dashboards connected to the model with power bi desktop on power bi services.

Really sorry for my poor english, but I hope you understand what Im talking about. And I hope there is a soulotion for this.

As I test, the Manage Roles and View as role can be used even through they are published to Service. Why View as role in your .pbix greyed out, do you have any special operation?

You mean in some dashboard, the roles work fine, while some others don't work, right? Please confirm you add right members in the Securiy setthing of Power BI service.

When I wrote the View as role is greyed out I mean in Power BI desktop on the pbix file connected live to Power BI service. Not in powerbi.com.

What I mean is that roles works fine in every dashboard. But the View as role in powerbi.com only shows how the roles work in the pbix file uploaded with the dataset.

I want to try View as role on all the pbix files uploaded to powerbi.com connected live to powerbi service dataset.

After test and research, the RLS is unsupported when we connect dataset in the Power BI service, please review the screenshot, the feature requests and vote them.

Please Bring back "Test as role" in Power BI Service
