Row Level security and data loading

I am planing to roll out report for different region and different people would access to only the data they are belong to. I am planning to achieve this throught row security, so the report get filter by region user are belong to. The problem is my data would be quite big so with row security implimented, is the data being loaded only filter row or it does load all then filter later. 

I just want to know if row security help to load only neccessary data which will improve my report perfomance

Hi @manoplaeli,

Based on experience, I do think that all data will be loaded first, then filtered later with row security implemented. So I don't think row level security could help to load only necessary data which will improve your report performance.
