I have opened a Support Request 2407170020000023
Im experiencing exactly the same issue. I created a dummy dataset as CSV files, created a report and added a role. After publishing the report to a workspace, which also creates the semantic model in the same workspace. When I go to security and click "Test as Role" I get the error "To test row-level security, create a report with the semantic model and save it to the same workspace."
Hi @Siphiwokazi
"To test row-level security, create a report with the semantic model and save it to the same workspace. " According to this sentence, your semantic model is not in the same workspace as the report you uploaded. I can't restore your scenario, I need to know what operation caused this. Could you please tell me what is the data source for the above mentioned report? That would be very helpful.
Best Regards,
Yulia Xu
Hi,
The data source is Web(Sharepoint)
