I have a sales table with multiple breakdowns (market, channel, territory, product, date) and a goals table with goals that are broken down by those categories as well.
So, a sale for market A, Channel A, territory A, product A, Date A would correspond to a specific goal.
How do I tie together my sales table with my goals table when there are many different breakdowns? Should I use a helper column?
You could use slicers. Put both tables on your view and then a slicer will filter both tables simultaneously.
