Retrieving Microsoft PBI servers IP to Authorize Access to our database

Hi all,

To allow PBI online to connect to our database, I need to authorize their IP adress... Is it static and known, is it possible to retrieve the IP adresses?

Thanks for your helpful hints. Any workaround would help.

Adrien

As @ankitpatira mentioned,

The only way to connect to your on-premises data sources is to do all your modeling and report making in Power BI Desktop and then use a Power BI Gateway as the middleman between the Power BI Service and your on-premises data source(s) for data refreshes.

@adrien5555 You can't connect straight from power bi service to your database on-premise, you need power bi desktop for that. If you are connecting to azure sql database then you don't need IP.
