Report data in Power Bi service is not same as configure

Hi,

I have a problem with the report data in the Power BI service.

Situation:

In the report have table visualization and filter by page have been applied to the report.

When I open report in Power Bi service, the data in the table visualization did not filter by page as configured.

But it needs to click Reset to default button to get the right data as configured. 

How to solve this problem and it happens to other people in the workspace.

Hi @Anonymous, 

by default the Power BI Service save the last state per user the report was in. This is by design so users don't have to set their common filters over and over again when they return to a report.

You can however override this setting in Power BI Desktop:

In the Options, under Current file you see Persistent filters, if you check that box users can't save personal filters on a report.

Hi @nickyvv ,

The user did not apply a personal filter, this happen when we are the first login to that dashboard even though I already applied as suggested.
