Report Visual is not working on Power BI APPS (Working on Power BI Desktop)

Hi There,

 

i have power bi report which is connected to SSAS Tabular Cube and working fine from power bi desktop.

 

howerver, when i am trying to access sames report from power bi service, some of the report visual is not working and getting error "report could not access data source" . 

 

FYI- i have RSL implemented on the report. not sure why it is causing issue as there are no any other filters on the visual

Hi @Anonymous 

This looks like the credentials you are using in the gateway do not have sufficient permissions to access the database.

Can you access the data from SSAS in Service ? If so, please check if the service account(s) you're using for SSAS/EGW has "Read" permission on the AD user in acrtive directory. If no ,please establish the relationship between the gateway and the data source in Service .
