Report Subscription Alert Customization

Hi all,

I have created a subscription to  report in Power BI and sendg out emails to users. The issue is customization of the email.

Everything here is as per expected (includingthe sender). I just need to remove the portion marked 1. I tried Power automate as well, but I am not able to make it like this. Anyone knowsa way to do this? Or pointing to the right linkw ill be helpful too.

Hi @yashwant101 ,

Please follow these steps:

1. Create a Power BI data alert for report, this alert can be set up to trigger under certain conditions that you define.

2. Use Power Automate to create a flow, that starts with the Power BI data alert as the trigger.

3. Add an action to send an email in Power Automate.

Hi @yashwant101 ,

Currently, the direct customization options for the content of Power BI subscription emails are limited.

The subscription feature sends out automated emails that include a snapshot of the report, along with some predefined text sections.

Modifying specific parts of this automated email, such as removing a particular section marked as '1' in your case, is not supported within Power BI is subscription settings.

If this feature is important to you, you may want to consider proposing ideas to Home (microsoft.com).
