Report Publishing Problem

I can't publish existed report from Power BI Desktop. When I delete the report from Power BI and republish it, there is no problem. Do you have any idea with this issue?

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,

As the documentation says:

If you already have two or more datasets in Power BI with the same name as the Power BI Desktop file, publish could fail. Make sure you have only one dataset in Power BI with the same name. You can also rename the file and publish, creating a new dataset with same name as the file.

I can't reproduce the problem, could you please provide more information, it would be helpful if there is an error screenshot, maybe you can try to upgrade the desktop to the latest version.

I have been able to use publish web feature previously without any issue and suddenly (a few days back) the feature been blocked and says "contact admin". Not sure why and to whom I should approach?

@Anonymous

Can you please try to publish the PBIX file directly from Power BI Service.

Path:- Login to Power BI Service >> Workspaces >> (select the workspace) >> Click "Get Data" >> Files >> Get >> Browse the PBIX file from the machine.

As suggested, please try to re-pro the issue.

If you have any concerns, please let us know.
