I have been receiving error messages when trying to run automatic refreshes on Power BI Services with the error stating "We're sorry, an error occurred during evaluation" and the error code -2147467259, but all these reports were working fine on the previous day, has there been any changes to the Service since 4th June 2026 and how can I get these reports working again on the Service, they all work on Power BI Desktop, and one of my reports is working if I refresh it a few times on the service manually?
Using Microsoft Access databases and excel in some cases. I have done the checks on gateway status and credentials are all working.
Can you do this too please?
File-->Options and Settings --> Data Source Settings --> clear each data source permission
I have tried this and changed all global permissions for my datasets, set to None and uploaded back into Power BI without success. Also changed back to Organisational, still not working.
Currently running through an on premises data gateway using Windows authentication and set to Organisational privacy level.
Okay, Also can you please check if the Access and Excel table headers are matching with Power BI imported data? Maybe a header has been changed in the source.
No changes made to table headers used.
Hi @PYarwood98,
Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
Thank you @anilelmastasi for the prompt response.
Since everything is working fine in the desktop and one report even refreshes after a few manual retries, this looks like a gateway side issue. Please follow below steps:
If the issue still persists, I recommend opening a support ticket so the team can look at the service side logs for your workspace.
