Refresh data Power BI mobile

Hi Power BI Community,

I've made a Power BI report which is fit to use on my mobile. I can update this report via the refresh button on my desktop.

So I want to use this report on my iPhone and be able to update the date by swiping the screen down. I extracted the data out of Dynamics Nav via a OData link and this connections works fine on my desktop. But when I publish my report and open it in the mobile app via my workspace I am unable to update the data.

Can anyone help me please? Already tried to use a gateway connection, but not sure this is the right solution.

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Hi @to ,

When you hit update in Power BI app, it just goes to service to get new data if exists, but does not trigger the data source refresh. You need to refresh data in service.

@to The refresh of the report can only be scheduled, and that is done in the Power BI Service on the dataset. You can't initiate a refresh of the dataset from your mobile device in the manner you describe.
