Hi,
I use Power Bi desktop with an Azure database, Azure table storage. My problem is that every refresh of the database takes like 2 hours because of the amount of data. Almost 15Go. I wondered if there where a solution to minimized it or just refresh the extra data instead of refreshing the whole database. I also wondered if Power Bi embedded could solve my problem.
Thanks
1. Do you have to refresh it? Could you connect to the database via Direct Query?
2. Could you use aggregations? Only import aggregated data, leave the raw data on the server and use Direct Query for that part (Mixed mode)
3. Is the data frequently changing or can you put older data into its own partition because it will never change again? In that latter case you can consider to use incremental refresh.
