Refresh Issue

I am using Power BI Pro and I have a question that - Does Power BI Gateway personal mode refresh data as well as .pbix file?

Since I am using Personal Gateway credential is not an issue.

How can I check the data is current?

When I add new page to report it does not get updated when I do referesh, but refresh history says refresh successful.

Data gateways, personal or not, do not refresh PBIX file. PBIX file needs to be refreshed manually. And, if you have added a new page, you'll have to publish your report into Power BI Cloud, replace & update existing report and then refresh it in the Cloud.

Thank you for your reply, this cleared my doubts. I was thinking that refresh also takes upated PBIX file.

@b1k1m1 , When you say refresh, You mean scheduled refresh.  Or you went ahead and manually refreshed the dataset.

Clear your to cache and refresh the report once. Also, check if there is an issue with your gateway- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/service-gateway-onprem-tshoot
