I have been able to use Excel as a datasource (locally or via sharepoint). I just started to try using Acces as a data source instead. I have 32bit applications on my server (Office/PowerBI Desktop). I can get data from Access locally or in sharepoint. I create my report and publish it no problem. But when I go to refresh my dataset I get the message below. I installed the 32bit 2010 Access DB Engine same issue. I went over to another server and installed the 64bit version of PowerBI. This time I instllead the 64bit version of 2010 Access DB Engine. Same issue! Again my Access is an .accdb file created in a 32bit application. I have tried accessing my db local and via sharepoint and get the same result. Any ideas?
