Refresh 32 bit Oracle database

Hi All,

I have a 32 bit Oracle database for which i installed 32 bit Power BI desktop and have prepared a report. Now when i try to refresh this report from Power BI service, then it does not allow me to as the gateway is 64 bit and database is 32 bit.

I know this is a limitation, however is there any solutin to this as i can't ask my client to suddenly change their structure from 32 bit to 64 bit.

Hi @Anup1004 , is the gateway and power bi desktop on the same server?

Install the 64-bit oracle driver on the gateway server and test creating the connection again.

How to check the server for gateway? Also, i might not be able to install anything on the oracle side given that the client is already on the 32 bit.

Everything works fine for me on the Power BI desktop, as i had installed a 32 bit however i am facing issues at the Power BI service end where the gateway and oracle are of different versions.

Really need a solution for this or else there would be absolutely no use of the efforts made in creating the reports. Not sure on how to proceed
