Hi,
How can I redirect PowerBI's app reports?
Now clients click on a link and see the reports. I would like them to use the same link just to update that they will see new (different) reports.
Is it possible to do that via the PowerBI app?
Thanks!
I would also love this feature - for you to redirect distrubuted links.
Hi. I'm not sure what you are asking right here. If you share the link of the App. The one that shows when upgrading/publishing the app. Then they will open the app with the default report. if you add new reports to the app, they will see all that as long as you allow them. Is that what you need?
I hope that helps,

This reply do something. The aim is to authenticate user, and redirect them to another page which embeds a PBI report. It helps end user login once without reloading the "another page" twice
Ok, I will try to explain better. I have 2 power bi systems (environments) and clients have access to one of them.
I want to transfer them to new environment but without send them new links, I want that it will be automatically.
I want the users will use the same link but behind the scene they will enter to new environment without notice.
Thanks!
I agree this feature would be helpful. I inherited a bunch of reports and want to reorganize them based on backend data source linking etc. Also there are some workspaces that are administrated by other teams and I want my reports to be in my workspace. I can update all of the links, but I worry about people who have it bookmarked that they will go to the old location. I've thought about updating the old location report to just be a fat link button with a note that the report has moved and to update their bookmark, but it would be nice to just push them with a redirect.
Ok. I guess with environment you mean Workspace or maybe Organization. The thing here is that the PowerBi App link is unique for each workspace within an organization, so you can't use the same link in a different place rather than the current workspace at the organization.
Unless you want to bring all the things/content to the workspace of the current power bi link app, then you need to send a different link to users and explain the reason. Try to think this through so that the next link will be a definitive one.
I hope that make sense.
