I removed my personal gateway from within Power BI's web interface, and cannot get it back. I've uninstalled/reinstalled the gateway locally, and it notifies me that I've already installed a gateway and only gives me the option to take it over.
Can anyone help me get my gateway back in Power BI, or completely remove the old one to start anew so that it shows up again?

Actually, power bi gateway personal mode not contains any recovery option, you only need to sign in your account on gateway client.
Have you try to clean up cache files and re-login your account?
In addition, if you install personal gateway on other device and sign in account, it also works.
