Hi there. My team and I are trying to add some user input features to our PowerBi report tables. Our internal clients are specifically requesting record level commenting because they're using our outreach reports as a checklist, and we also want to be able to apply row level security.
We've done some research and know that base PowerBi has limited user interactivity so we're now looking at Power Apps.
Are there any specific Power Apps that can allow us to use our data sets (with slicers) while allowing users to place comments a la Excel?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Do you mean to use excel as a data source and set up RLS in PowerBI?
If you want to set RLS, please refer to https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/create-reports/desktop-rls
And if you want to enter content in PowerBI report, you can see if there are visuals that meet your expectations in the app store.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz
