I recently changed my password and i'm no longer able to connect and i'm receiving the following error message:

@DianeL Thanks for the clarification. I'm not sure SSO/kerberos works for import mode in Power BI service if you are using Windows authentication as it still requires you to type in a user-name and password for the specific gateway connection. There are options to check-off SSO for direct query a few different ways however. We use basic authentication for our on-prem SQL sources which is a lot easier to manage. In SQL we have dedicated service accounts for PowerBI. In any case, I hope the following articles helps you somewhat-

@pborah @v-sgandrathi Thank you both. To clarify, all of our agency's products including all microsoft products (SQL & PowerBi) rely on our network SSO. When I change my pw (every 90 days), I have to update my connections with the new pw. In the past 5 years of using PowerBI I've never run into this issue.
The issue still persists. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the gateway. The gateway is online. However, my connections to the servers are still generating the error message. My IT department is also looking into a solution as well, but it's been 2 weeks.

@pborah Thank you so much for replying. I should have been more specific, I updated my organziation's signle sign-on (SSO), as we must update it every 90 days. My ODBC connections and SQL server are all reading my new password. I am able to pull the data fine. I'm also able to connect on the PowerBI Desktop. The issue with managing the connections online.

@DianeL Have you tried recreating the connection to your SQL source in the gateway with the new password? Also, while I think I know the answer, by changing password do you mean you changed the password of the SQL login used to connect to the data source in SQL from PowerBI?
