RLS not working for user

Hello, 

I have set up RLS for different departments. The CEO should be able to view all department's performances. When I tested out his role, he was able to. He has been able to see all departments the past week. However, this week, for some reason he can only filter for only one department. The others do not show up. Even though when I test out his role, it does give him the ability to filter for each department. Can somebody please tell me what might be going wrong here?

How did you define his RLS?

Was it possible that the CEO had a Role in the App Workspace that was anything but Viewer?

If the CEO does not have a role in the App Workspace he will then get the RLS which has been defined in the RLS configuration.
