I did some RLS last week in Fabric semantic model in service , now I went to do the same for another model , I see message that its moved to desktop so I downloaded the report and opened model tab , Roles grayed out , then I tried new report in desktop connecting to dataset still same result , now how to I build roles in semantic model

How do I setup roles now ? My PBI version is : Version: 2.132.1053.0 64-bit (August 2024)

The Fabric semantic model you have doesn't support configuring RLS in Power BI, which is why the feature is grayed out, it is an approximation of the live connection mode. You can try to configure it in Microsoft Fabric or use a third-party tool to do so.
